Join us the second Thursday of each month for a rousing game of Texas42, at 11:00 a.m. in Koslow. Play one time and you want to come everymonth. Texas 42 is a fascinating game that takes dominoes to a newlevel. This is a wonderful chance for fellowship and fun!
GARDEN ANGELS
St. Andrew's is calling all gardeners who want to bring God's beauty to the landscape of St. Andrew's through perennials and seasonal colors. Our goal will be to create a lovely first impression for visitors and a place of calming beauty in the middle of downtown Fort Worth. We have such beautiful architecture, a lovely courtyard area and beds on three side of the block! What we need are parishioners willing to get their hands dirty planting seasonal color, weeding, mulching, and light trimming. Our gorgeous crepe myrtles give us lines, shade and light blossoms in the hot summers while other beds long to be spiced up! Inspired by the gardens of Europe, we have a surprise in store for the oval bed in the middle of the courtyard
Our own Ben Harveson, a horticulturist with a degree from Texas Tech University, Matt Johnson, a graduate of TCU and owner of Nature Scapes Inc. a landscaping firm, and Taddie Hamilton, a backyard gardener have been working on a master plan for the landscaping. The Garden Angels will gather once a month to keep the grounds and flower beds tidy and to plant bulbs or annuals.
