Operation Christmas Child
Bring your shoeboxes to the Ingathering on Sunday, November 16
at the 10:30AM service in the church
This simple project is for ALL ages and a wonderful family outreach
Remember, our Parish Ingathering for Operation Christmas Child will be on Sunday, November 16, at the 10:30 service. Enjoy shopping for and praying for the child or teen youth who will receive your box or boxes. And remember to include a $10 shipping fee in each box. The boxes travel to very remote regions all over the world, and children receiving the boxes hear about Jesus in their own native languages. If you will not be at church on November 16, you may bring your filled box or boxes to the parish house on any day before that time. You may also go online to fill a shoe box. Go to the website of Operation Christmas Child (a part of the ministry of Samaritan's Purse). You may also make an online donation or a check to St. Andrew's, noted for "Operation Christmas Child." If you would like to make a donation to cover costs of materials fill the shoe boxes or shipping costs click here. Through this project, we can all truly be missionaries right here at home. This is a well loved Christian outreach project which sends the Gospel, along with small gifts, to needy children all over the world. Shoe boxes to fill (with instructions) are now available in the Parish house. Come take part!
