St. Andrew’s will launch a well loved Christian outreach project titled Operation

Christmas Child on October 4. This project, under the overall umbrella of

Samaritan’s Purse, involves sending gift filled shoe boxes, provided by the church,

to needy children in some of the most remote regions of the world. The gifts, for

children and youth ages 2-14, can be very simple. Into each box are then inserted

materials in many languages, telling of Jesus Christ and His love for all. Shoe

boxes and fliers with full details on filling the boxes will be available at church this

Sunday. Individuals and families can have a great time filling the boxes. The box

ingathering will take place on Sunday, November 15, during the 10:30 service. We

invite you to be a part of this meaningful Christian outreach project.
